Get the Volvo, Val Songtext

Get the Volvo, Val Songtext
Eric Blackburn was a hang-glider pilot;
He also ran a paint shop in Broomhall.
His range of sandpaper was extensive,
That′s by the way not relevant at all.
One Saturday Eric went hang-gliding.
Back and forth above Burbage moor he flew!
On the ground, his wife, val, was deciding,
What to cook for dinner, as you do.
When Eric came in to land, Val was relieved.
He shouted "Get the Volvo, Val!" But he didn't say please!
Oh, get the Volvo, Val! Eric blackburn′s final words!
Get the Volvo, Val!
But did she say "yes, i shall!"?
Or did she take huff?
Shout "Get it yourself! I've had enough!
And her defiant cry
Startled Eric causing him to crash into a rock and die!
