I′m alight now
I no longer choke up, when I hear your name
Let's just say we broke up, and no ones to blame
I′ve learned there is life after you love
And I will find a new love, any day now
I'm ok now
I can even smile now, when little things go wrong
I don't touch the dial now, when they play that song
I took up chess and Chinese cooking
So yes my life is looking, pretty bright now
I′m alright now
I′ve quit my moping
I found that moping, isn't worth, a dime I′m finally coping
Don't even get depressed, at Christmas time
I′m just fine now
Made so many friends, I can't keep up with them
Every day I lunch, or dine, or sup with them
And hey, for work I′m never late now
I work out watch my weight
I'm doin' great now
I even date now
Of course, I cry myself to sleep, most every night
But, with that slight exception
I′m alright.
