My truck is parked on 34th
It′s pointed south, but I want to go north
Where trees grow so tall they don't touch the ground
I wanna go and turn that truck around

I′m on my way down to your place
Working on my best game face
But the gravity is getting me down
I really should go turn that truck around


And while I'm at it, I think I'll head north
Get some miles between my head and the source
Of my heartache and remorse
While I′m at it, I think I′ll head North

There's a seven mile backup from a right lane closure
The heaters broke so I might die from exposure
I left my wallet at Lee′s Liquor Lounge
But there's no way in hell I′ll turn this truck around

I've had it, I′m headed north
