Black Boots Songtext
von John Edmond

Black Boots Songtext

If you have a look around a jungle JOC.
It isn′t very hard to find a super cop;
You can tell who he is if you look down
'Cause he don′t wear those boots of brown.

He wears black boots and he's comin to get ya,
An eagle on his sleeve and I can bet ya,
Any old place where the black boots are,
It ain't no place for a gandanga.

He can run like a cheetah, he can fight like a bear,
He can jump like a kudu, he can jinx like a hare
And just like a monkey he can climb a tree,
He can swim like a tiger in the Zambezi.

He wears black boots and he′s comin to get ya,
An eagle on his sleeve and I can bet ya,
Any old place where the black boots are,
It ain′t no place for a gandanga.

If a terr's on the run or if he goes to ground,
doesn′t really matter 'cause they′ll hunt him down
And if that terr's the first that shoots,
He′s got no chance against the Black Boots,

He wears black boots and he's comin to get ya,
An eagle on his sleeve and I can bet ya,
Any old place where the black boots are,
It ain't no place for a gandanga.

′Way down Thrasher or a Hurricane,
Repulse, Tangent, it′s all the same,
They can go where they like, do what they can,
but the Black boots always get their man.

He wears black boots and he's comin to get ya,
An eagle on his sleeve and I can bet ya,
Any old place where the black boots are,
It ain′t no place for a gandanga.

He wears black boots and he's comin to get ya,
An eagle on his sleeve and I can bet ya,
Any old place where the black boots are,
It ain′t no place for a gandanga.
