"We′re gonna die," Winnipeg said casually
As we stared up through the trees
The branches bent, shivered in the winter breeze
Snowflakes fallin' on our cheeks

And we forgot all about the bitter cold
Walked ′til we couldn't feel our toes
Stopped on the lake, and then she took off all her clothes
Runnin' naked in the snow

As she stared into her beer

We dried our shoes, then we went upstairs to my room
Said she couldn't stay for long
We met the night, cigarettes and pillow fights
And when I woke up, she was gone
