Down from the mountain we′ll rove
A step in harmony we'll go
Breathing in

The earth and sky
Almost see the stars turn
Round and round the ancient stone
Fight to stay awake
Want to see it all
But sleep comes easy now
I melt in to the ground


Rain on canvas covering my head
There no better sound or feeling
Being warm in a blanket of mist
Which lifts to announce a new day
A night of dreaming on the hill
Resets the clock, somehow
Long summer days
And short, short nights
All that′s lost is found
Wake with an empty mind

Still and conscious of the world
My ear awakens first of all
The drumming snipe in flight
The ground croaking grouse
The scent of warm rain on parched earth
Eyes shut absorbing it all

Here I can truly switch off
And by switching off I really mean switching on
Being with the wild and with myself
The clock resets I can breathe easy now
