Patience Songtext
von Jacob Fortyhands

Patience Songtext

Go for a thrill
But tire when you get to it
Let it go
And slide into another one
Then do it again
How come my inconsistency is permanent?
Don′t get your hopes up It might be over before it began
If I had the patience I would stay and we'd be talking for ages
But maybe I′ll never get it right
And blame it all on time
Pushing through the days and
Well it seems there goes another one wasted
Well maybe I'll never satisfy
And blame it all on time
Illusions start to rust

And I worry 'bout the outcome of my odyssey
I was striving for commitment
But got pressured by all false and heavy dreams
I tried to get as high as I can reach
Then tire on my knees
Would′ve tried but it′s all in vain
No, I would never lie vis a vie
You're alright and I suppose it′s true
If I had the patience I would stay and we'd be talking for ages
But maybe I′ll never get it right
And blame it all on time
Pushing through the days and
Well it seems there goes another one wasted
Well maybe I'll never satisfy
And blame it all on time
