I′d know what to say

I just go up on my lines

If I were a painter
Repainting the world
Then you′d get the picture
And I'd get the girl
But whatever I do
I draw a blank when it comes to you

Trying to get you out of my mind
Climbing walls all day and all night
How long can I go on
Being right where you belong


If I were a singer
You'd listen to me
Yes, if I were an artist
I would be free
It′s so hard to express
Lost my voice long ago, I guess

Deep down I know I′m on track
But I've been holding back
I′m dying to make my move
Don't you know how much I want you?

But whatever I do
