Cursed undertow, come on, steal my flesh and bones.
Crush me under storms
I know, I know, I′m so cold.


I lost a lot in that forest.
Follow little lights that would speak to me.
I lost a lot in chasing those ghosts.
Cut me open bleed me out I'm begging you.
Hollow, fallen tree, can I live inside you until the morning is here?
Until I′m chewing daisies by their roots?

Have it all, or burn it down.
Watch the embers choke before the sun comes out.
Bury them and the hatchet too,
Tell me I'm your wolf; that you're green and true.
Am I alive? Am I?
I know, I know, I′m so close.


You frightened foal, you funny thing.
I held you in my hands with your wounded wing.
I′ll catch you again some day.
The water in the creek will never behave.
