The sea here is as blue as the sky

The novelty of sun and sea
Won't wear off before I′m gone
But those who never get to leave
There's a real life behind the sun


Some may say they'd love to be out there
Free as a bird
But birds are often kept inside a cage
And without their wings
There′s no way for you to see the world
It′s a long hard life as freedom slaves

Yesterday I saw a man
He turned away toward his family
They were living rough beside the road
The novelty of the sun and sea
