Depression
The sorrow settles in
The thoughts corrupt my mind and lead me into the dark
Misfortune - and old friend of mine
Take hold of my hand with your chilling embrace
The memories - the forefront of my mind
Eating away at me and resurfacing with time
I must find salvation

The reaper reaches for my hand but I decline the offer
Despite great temptations, do I prefer to suffer?
Processing, adapting this empty space

Reflecting the loss of another
Leave me here to grieve
Emotional state so very sombre
The absence of relief

Contemplating life
I adore nihility
Endlessly to realize that this life is not for me
