He may own mansions grand
With abundance of land
And the whole world his name may proclaim


But a man who is wise in the eyes of the Lord
Will have riches this world can′t afford
Mansions here can't compare
With the one he′ll have there
If he's wise in the eyes of the Lord

He'll lay up his treasures in heaven
Where thieves cannot break through and steal
He′ll walk every day
In the straight narrow way
And each vow to the Lord he′ll fulfill
