Where the sun once met the crest

This aqua blue looks more like black
There is a sinking feeling on my back
Blackness equals no hope
It′s too dark to see
In this salty misery

As daybreak approaches
I see the horizon
This endless wet plane
Holds my ultimate fate
This mission so secretive
No one knows we are out here
Are they coming for us before it's too late?
