A million years ago, around 2013
Humans hung ornaments from ears that were external
They improved their eyesight with glass they had manipulated
Fastened to their heads with wings that wrapped around those external ears


All those years ago cultures were still colliding
Everyone had different backgrounds they didn′t realise that was what made people interesting
Now everyone's the same, everybody has internal ears
We′ve stopped counting the years,
Because everybody's immortal

It seems so strange now
That we were ever reproducing
Immortality required certain sacrifices
But we can live forever now
We can live forever now
It was worth it all
