The unholy land, that forever seems unreal
Now the gates have opened and out walks a man
Battered and broken and mentally crippled by these honest people

The foundation is lost, a new one will have to emerge
Though the struggle seems endless and the change so small


With one foot in front of the other, the journey begins
The strange world awaits with fiends that wants to mislead him
Well the path is clear as the water that runs through the drain
Oh and as my world never bow down to another ever again

She offers her hand to lead him through the dark
To the other side and into the light

She will be there
To catch me when
My mountain it crumbles into the ground

She lifts me up
To see the world
