Lately I′ve been thinking about you,
And the time we spent on the beach,
Time flew by - we felt so high
We left our problems out of reach.

But we didn't really make it that far,
I broke down when I saw your car
Leave my house for the last time
You said the faults all mine

If I don′t care - why do I feel the need to stare,
At our pictures now that you've clearly moved on.
If I don't care - then why is this so much too bare
I spent too much time trying to hold on
And now you′re gone
