Looked at me through a cold rain
It was then that they arrived
Kind people who welcomed me

This distant future is different than
I imagined: no technology
No superior knowledge
Simplicity. Nature. Love. Welfare
They all live in communion
No competition

Creatures of darkness, work for them
Only fair exchange
Some devoured to let others live well ...live well

A future happiness
Requires a price to pay


"Who stole my time machine?"
I cried out, in anger
But got no response
Just astonished looks
My head started to

...fill up with questions

Their behavior was so different
Why had they almost
Let that woman die?

Creatures of darkness
Work for them
Only a fair exchange
Some devoured to make others live well ...live well

Why were they so afraid
Of the dark?
The answers came from
The darkness
