Bold as love, pigeons pass
Finding banquets in the trash

Booming bars and the news
Change of scenery and class
That contrast in a flash
When I cross the railroad tracks

They cripwalk, overpaint
Alchemy they once contained
Aerosol glares its teeth
Masterpieces rise again

Fresh fruit on streetcarts
Pressing him into the south
Bittersweet as he starts
And they brown like arthropods
Arthropods

Saw bones break
For a smoke
Under concrete canopies
Ambulances full speed
As the red lights in the street
