Buried Language Songtext

Buried Language Songtext

Selling us enough distracted apathy
With the nursery rhymes and delirium dreams
Run for our lives past the memory loss and the welcome wheels
With a message from tomorrow, I tell you how it was told to me

I am not an architect disguised in vanity
What′s left to value in the midst of complacency

A docile mouthpiece for corporatocracy
Speak in lowercase our language obsolete
Your bibles are trying but won't work on me
Stacked on silence and incomplete
Daily handshakes, make sure to spread disease
There′s no criteria on who the hive will keep
Refuse to bow to tyrants unseen
A false sense of security

From outside the bars, by the ones who hold the keys
Creating a life to watch it plea for release
In a world overrun with greed
With bigger business in mind through all the dead-end deals
God-fearing work by the hands of thieves
There's no more walls to hang your trophies
You weren't ivory like the movies

Baptised in bleach as I swallow down sleep
Tossed and turned as I drowned out my peace
With a price tag on its eyes and ears
Pantomiming drone with broken feet
Soon the content outweighs the body

The seeds are sewn for the wagers to reap
But there′s still enough stuck in our cavities
As your mass murder weapons hit our family trees
