The Dream That Went on for Days Songtext

I dreamt of you last week and it went for days
Whenever I wish to see you, you don′t appear
So, I'm trying hard to distract myself and think of other things
Hoping to see you again even in my dreams

We were both in different schools but we both planned
To meet each other at a café after classes
It′s okay, even just this one time
You just wanted to see me again

On the first day, we left words on a notebook at my house
But we never saw each other, we just talked that way
Sadly we didn't get to meet, it was a short scene
But I knew your handwriting, has it changed since then?


The other day we texted each other, used my old phone
I lost that phone in real life sa tricycle
We were both waiting for each other to send the first text
Eventually, you sent an emoji so I sent one, too

I told you let's meet each other after classes
You said, "Okay, I′ll wait for you," while I headed to school
Sadly, I woke up right after so we never met
I replayed that scene in my head hoping it was real

The next day I didn′t dream of you
And dumb was I, I didn't jot down the things that happened
I went on with my day, think of something else
And so that night I dreamt of you again

School ended for the day and I walked outside
Headed over to the café, just like we planned
I got a seat upstairs and I waited for you
And when you came, that was when I woke up
