Soon everyone′s filled their heads full of sand
A flag in one hand
A foot on the land
The land is a desert abandoned by animals
The snakes and bugs are depressed
The land is a mess
Speckled with everlasting ash


They stare at the sun that power their fans
And their lungs are cold from breathing refrigerated
Saturated air
In coyotes lair a bundle of hair
They're frying his head, and smoking his bed
And building a tower out of fur

Dry feet in a dance
Hours in trance
Lost in a tribe of beating drums
A pale shadow of rain
One drop in a brain turn into clay
Animal prey they sit around stone
The man with a bone is building a tower
