The cross words of the Bible
Seem so cross they cancel out the love;
In echoes through the empty church
They′re crossing out the names
Of everyone who said they′d never change.

Clocks are precious 'cause
We often go unconscious
And we want to see the morning sky
Break out from the darkness,
