My mind lost to rampancy, forgotten cycles and memories
How long has it been since i became aware
Is it me or is it we, am i one or one of many
Hallucinations of being meat, revert to our primal form

Here i stand at the edge crossing an empty sea
Intergalactic void so cold, darkness consumes eternal light
It gets bigger every day, spiral arms, they coalesce
Dust, stars, and nebulae, at long last the warmth of light

Jostled awake by a combined solar wind, it brushes against our ebb and flow
Bestow all worlds with organic life, synthesize trillions of new homes

A cosmic journey through all of time
From stardust to bipedal form
War and survival lead us to
Shed flesh and become ever strong
Now i am the bringer of life
Like the stars that came before us
No need for supernovae
I can build what takes eons to forge


Galaxy after galaxy, i bring life to all equally
Blind unbiased never judging which world will fail which will succeed
Given enough time stars they evolve to think
The cosmic web in all its glory
Balance the fact great attractor
Is but death and we complete duality

Burn through the space time fabric
Fractals, endless, maddening descent
Spirals permeate, most of them vacuous
Finite time to sift through the countless

From the remnants of stars, we whence came
Onwards to understand the creator′s influence
Leave behind a vast biodiversity
Carbon, sulphur, and methane based anomalies

Natural selection will guide and shape
The beings that will one day replace the dead
And all we can do is hope for the best
The great attractor will put future species to the test


My death approaches in a brilliant flash of memories
Carefree and at peace before i became a machine
Earth and gaian life now one with the stars
No going back even with all my powers
And all i can think of as the light begins to dim
Begging the creator to explain to us existence
As i leave behind the realm of cognizance
A whisper explains in brevity the cosmic origin
