Don′t Take Light
I stand at the top of the line
Not waiting long it's a trick of the mind
My soul is still my body′s cracked at the spine
I see the air of the birds, it moves slower than time

You watch my life unwind, no designs are drawn for me
Stepping gently round this fear, that's me
I confess to shaping this imagined disease

Please set my hand within reach
You can't touch my face, it′s a tease, just like me


Don′t take light my inner doubts, there's blackness all around
What are these years all about, grave and cradle common plight
So deadly common I wonder why, why do these tears run my life

The battle ends but you hear a war in your mind
Not good or evil, just some fracture that history winds
The soul is able yet the body declines
To take the mantle of a life with a heavenly shine

Please don′t watch my life unwind, try to find a fantasy
Entertain a fool with a laughter that's free

Was I invited or am I deceived
It′s just a parting gift as you leave, as you leave
