Paris Rain Songtext

Paris Rain Songtext
I remember your face
You were standing by the platform
The trains rolling in
Like fog on an autumn′s day
Paris looked cold
Wrapped up in a silver gown
The river, her belt
The painter's her chain
The rain kept falling down
Like there was no tomorrow
And nowhere to go
Nothing to say
For so many years, I′ve forgotten about it
For so many years, I've left this picture in a book
Can't still hear your voice
Cards in the air
Jaw of the night
And I remember the boulevard
I do remember why
Can′t still see your face
You were standing by the airport glass door
You were waving goodbye
And I was thinking of you
And where are you now
Holding someone else′s hand
Have you ever thought of Paris and the rain
Do you remember Paris
In the sandstorm
You were standing by the platform
The trains rolling in
Like fog on an autumn′s day
Paris looked cold
Wrapped up in a silver gown
The river, her belt
The painter's her chain
The rain kept falling down
Like there was no tomorrow
And nowhere to go
Nothing to say
For so many years, I′ve forgotten about it
For so many years, I've left this picture in a book
Can't still hear your voice
Cards in the air
Jaw of the night
And I remember the boulevard
I do remember why
Can′t still see your face
You were standing by the airport glass door
You were waving goodbye
And I was thinking of you
And where are you now
Holding someone else′s hand
Have you ever thought of Paris and the rain
Do you remember Paris
In the sandstorm
