Isaiah 55 verses 8-9
For My thoughts are not your thoughts
Nor are your ways My ways declares the LORD
For as the heavens are higher than the earth
So are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts

He is Almighty, limitless unconditional, perfect
He is consistent, unchanging unconforming
He is incomprehensible, sovereign, independent, royal, paramount

When we say God will "give me the desires of my heart" in Psalm 37:4
It does not mean that he will give you what you want
It means that he will teach your heart what it ought to desire
