Puzzled Songtext
von Dylan Schneider
Puzzled Songtext
Sixteen years old no idea
What life has got in store
I just sing songs on my phone
But then I hit the road
To the big city where you take the dream
This ain′t Indiana no more
Yeah I ditch school some call me crazy
And then I go on tour
Got friends, a girl, and family
Back home I don't see much
Growing up and time alone
Keeping my head all mixed up
So I mixed up a couple drinks
Thinking I′d feel better
Yeah I've done wrong
I've done right
Trying to put it all together
I found a piece in Tennessee
Left some back in Indiana
There′s one that went missing somewhere down in Alabama
The bigger picture ain′t all there
But someday I pray it is
Through all the tears through all the struggle
Eight short years it's had me troubled
But I know one day I′ll find out why this life
Has kept me puzzled
Mom and daddy split up
I think I fall in love
The world shuts down
I go back home
For about the next eight months
And live a little bit of this life
In that house that I'm still missing
We tried to save it
Sometimes things go broke and you can′t fix 'em
That′s just another part of me that's gone at the cost of living
I found a piece in Tennessee
Left some back in Indiana
There's one that went missing somewhere down in Alabama
The bigger picture ain′t all there
But someday I pray it is
Through all the tears through all the struggle
Eight short years it′s had me troubled
But I know one day I'll find out why this life
Has kept me puzzled
I found a piece in Tennessee
Left some back in Indiana

The bigger picture still ain't there
