Figure It Out (commentary) Songtext
von Duncan Laurence
Figure It Out (commentary) Songtext
I wrote ′Figure It Out' with Jordan, on a cosy afternoon
In our Airbnb in Edinburgh, sitting on a couch
With a crappy, old guitar that was laying around in a corner of the living room
And I had to tune the guitar every 15 minutes
But we managed to write a song on it
We basically thought of how
Insecurities can sometimes take the best of you in the beginning of relationships
And that it′s not easy to fall in love
But no one ever said it was, of course
But if you believe in love and if you really believe in one another
And your faith is strong enough, it can help you to overcome your insecurities
And whenever I feel insecure now about whatever in life, I turn up this song
And it really helps me, a lot actually
Yeah, "It's just another thing to worry about
And if you want, we'll figure it out, figure it out"
