Nogrod thinks of all the times his friends have called him ugly
Makes an even uglier face
Slumber drunk he dreams about the draught he′ll drink when he's awake
And of elf maids in lace
All his life he smiled
At the thought of being on the outside
All by himself


He′s counting all the gold and jewels he's pilfered from those
Glittering caverns and caves
Shout into the void abyss that Nogrod calls a conscious
For an echo we'll wait

(Wait)

All his life he said, "I′ve worn dishonor on my head"
"All of my life"
"So what if I′m wasted all the time?"
"If the dungeons shudder when they hear the name, Nogrod"

He's gone
Fills the skulls of his slain enemies with dwarven mead
And when he drinks, when he drinks, he′s gone
