Pick myself up from the floor
Gather the pieces of my heart
Someone is knocking on the door
It′s time to make a brand new start
I look in the mirror anxiously
Why am I scared of who is staring back at me?

No one hears my silent scream
I'm alone here in this bad dream
No one sees the scars I hide away
I don′t know if I can carry on one more day

I am hiding in my shell
And say that everything's alright
It's just another day in hell
Oh, how I′m lonely for the night
I look in their eyes fearfully
Why am I scared of who is staring back at me?

I am so disappointed by who I have become
Insecurity has taken control over me
I cannot function when you′re around
My anxious feelings abound

I can't go on like this
It′s like a demon's kiss
I need to be strong and find a way out of this

I will let them know how I′m feeling inside
