Outta Sync Songtext

Outta Sync Songtext
Now because of my duality
Raised on pop and bass
Didn′t really bother me
'Cause it′s all about the taste
I'm the vinyl generation
And that's how I got my start
Combining clothes and music
And I turned it into art
Now because of the economy
You′re living with your mum
It′s hard to be a rebel
But you get your washing done
And you can skirt around the issue
You can rock around the clock
And no one will ever miss you
If you put it on TikTok
So I've finally come to realize
I might not be so old and wise
When your outta time and outta sync
Forever might not be as long as you think
With the innocence of youth
Age seemed like a curse
But consider the alternatives
Things coulda been much worse
And the journey that I set myself
Has been a test of faith
′Cause I've lived all seven stories
So I know there ain′t no eighth
And everything I used to fear
I find I now embrace
Because of all the problems
I won't be around to face
Predictions of dystopia
Three jobs to pay the rent
The treat of just a few degrees
We′re talking two percent
So I've finally come to realize
I might not be so old and wise
When your outta time and outta sync
Forever might not be as long as you think
Yes, we're absolutely fabulous
And we won′t be told
′Cause the young ain't what they used to be
But neither are the old
Sure, I might be on pension
But I′m still well-dressed
It's a modern day convention
And I′m not easily impressed
But I've finally come to realize
I might not be so old and wise
When your outta time and outta sync
Forever might not be as long as you think
So I′ve finally come to realize
I might not be so old and wise
When your outta time and outta sync
Forever might not be as long as you think
You down with OAP yeah you know me
Those old folks ain't what they use to be
You down with OAP yeah you know me
'Cause old folk ain′t what they use to be
You down with OAP yeah you know me
Stair master cut faster
Raised on pop and bass
Didn′t really bother me
'Cause it′s all about the taste

And that's how I got my start
