I don′t know if it was a gap year
Or a gap life
But there wasn't much going on between channel 2
And channel 9
So I went back to the beginning
Without rising from my seat
& Wondered about everything
That happened to me


& If you didn′t cry then you might laugh
Watching all the days drive by
In their slow cars
Would I get my bond back baby
If I drove away from here?
I turn my lemons into slices & I put them in my beer
& I go

Security lights
They flash & then go
I'll buy a new TV
When the old one gets old
Cause today tonight
Will be gone tomorrow
Then it's on again
& On & on again
