when you′re pecking your pathway to Eden
and you focus ahead with your eyes
don't be fooled if you fear what surrounds you
they are flowers and friends in disguise
and i know missed you said up ahead
there is nothing look around we are already done
the place that you′re headed and here
they are the same one

when you walk with your partner to Eden
will you wonder or stay by the side
if they stop for awhile at the entrance
and they turn back to give their goodbyes
and i know missed you waited the gates were up but they started coming back
down
but you pulled me through before they came the way down
