Messed Up Songtext
Well I′ve messed up too many times to ignore
Every time I pray it feels just like a chore
But I keep hoping one day I come around
I've heard all these stories ever since I was a boy
They said the way of god would fill me full of joy
But lately its been doing nothing but bringing me down I′m still scared to see the look on my mothers face
When I tell her how I've been feeling these days
I never wanted to let her down
Around the dinner table my father says grace
I bow my head and I take my place
But there are days when I don't here the sound
I′ve done some good but I′ve also done some bad
And I tell you right now the pain it doesn't last
I′d like to help you but the most I can do is tell you what I've done
A man once told me it′s the best thing I can do
Cause we're all human and you′re all human too
I walk through this dirt with my feet just like everyone
