Creature Teeth Songtext
My legs are longer now than when I was young
But it doesn′t help me walk away from what I have done
I've fallen from the giants shoulders on which I once stood
So I build myself with what I have found
Like creatures with teeth we bite and we gnaw
At the cloth we′re wrapped up in to cover up
Since the fall we see ourselves as we are
Bone and flesh and my breath won't bring anyone back from the dead
But the dead aren't so different
From who you and I pretend to be
We′ve lost our way home so again we′ll gather stones
To build a tower we can stand upon
Our feet of clay begin to crack
As we climb up to the sun
They dry and crumble and we slip and fall
We watch the sun become the moon
The oceans move because of you
We realize as we become the dirt
