A Little Too Comfortable Songtext

A Little Too Comfortable Songtext
I try to stay away from coffee
But brunch is just a must on Sunday
I′m never very far from being broke
My taste is rather too expensive
Although my style is apprehensive
My credit card bills are just a joke
We try to analyze but who knows what we're really thinking
We always comprise afraid to be our best, afraid to be the best
A little too comfortable to really want to change
I slowly dream my life away
A little too satisfied to surface from the sand
I′ll never be a superstar but I'm doing the best I can
My late night cravings never fail me
A bowl of cornflakes often fills me
But cyberspace is much more dangerous
I've played around until it thrilled me
I′ve loved until it almost killed me
I still don′t feel I've had enough
We can′t be satisfied afraid of what we might be missing
We always criticize afraid to be our best, afraid to be the best
A little too comfortable to really want to change
I slowly dream my life away
A little too satisfied to surface from the sand
I'll never be a superstar but I′m doing the best I can
But I'm doing the best I can
When I was very young I thought I was the only one
I thought I sang a different song
I had no clue I could be wrong
Now I live this modern life I never thought I′d compromise
But now it comes as no surprise
I've finally realized that
I'm a little too comfortable to really want to change
I slowly dream my life away
A little too satisfied to surface from the sand
I′ll never be a superstar but I′m doing the best I can
But brunch is just a must on Sunday
I′m never very far from being broke
