It′s been awhile since I sat down and smiled,
And left all my worries to wait,
I write down the lines that first come to my mind,
Gotta get them out, before it's too late,
Then I find that the longer it takes,
I always end up, making the same old mistakes,
And I′m not gonna to stop I aint gonna break,
I just gotta find something to say.

I don't know why, that I can sing about all kinds of things,
with you, I don't know what to say.
And I don′t know how, its gotta be such an issue for me,
When you′re on my mind day after day


It's been awhile now since I′ve seen her smile,
And I know that I'm who′s to blame,
There's so much on my mind that I keep deep inside,
And its all that she wants me to say,
Then I find, that the more time I need,
It always ends up, with her saying that she′ll leave,
And then the moment she's gone, I've got so much to say,
I keep wishing I′d asked her to stay,

I don′t know why, that I can sing about all kinds of things,
But with you, it's just not the same
And I know it aint right, but it′s true, the way I'm feeling for you,
When you′re on my mind day after day.

Don′t want you to scare and pull further away,
