Gloomy June Songtext

Gloomy June Songtext
The world outside my room ′s not a world I can face,
Cause I'm out of my head and have been for days,
And I can′t sleep
I open my eyes, it's the evening,
And then, I repeat the same cycle again and again
The past is mine to keep
I try to make myself think that the good days are worth all the bad,
But walking in circles is the future I know I will have
The days is there passing are just another burden to me
Just let me be
Because I, just sit and watch the clock
I'll say that I′m alright when I am not
And when the sky turns grey
I′ll hide away, alone with my thoughts
I'll dream of better days
Or run somewhere far away
It seems my time is up
For now I′ll just sleep through another day
And I'm sorry I′m not what you want me to be
I'm trapped in my mind
And it won′t let me free
The night it comforts me
I can hear it,
The call of that red bathroom floor
Both eyes on the exit, one hand on the door
If I go, then I'll be free
The match burns in my fingers
It's time I just let it go
I′ll fade softly in darkness
I′ll give up and no one will know
The floor spinning around in circles,
I can't seem to move from the bed,
Or out of my head
Because I, just sit and watch the clock
I′ll say that I'm alright when I am not
And when the sky turns grey
I′ll hide away, alone with my thoughts
I'll dream of better days
Or run somewhere far away
It seems my time is up
For now I′ll just sleep through another day
And if I cross the line again
Can't better think that this is how it ends
So close your eyes and just pretend
It's all okay
Because I, just sit and watch the clock
I′ll say that I′m alright when I am not
And when the sky turns grey
I'll hide away, alone with my thoughts
I′ll dream of better days
Or run somewhere far away
It seems my time is up
For now I'll just sleep through another day
Let me go
Let me go
Let me go
Let me go
Let me go
Cause I'm out of my head and have been for days,
And I can′t sleep
I open my eyes, it's the evening,
And then, I repeat the same cycle again and again
The past is mine to keep

Let me go
Let me go
Let me go
Let me go
Let me go
