Sunlight on the water as the people
Start to gather round
The breeze is easy and the
Ocean water spray
Cools and refreshes in the
Warm California day
The sound of the surf and the
Children as they play
Add a pleasant touch to the
Already perfect day
The atmosphere is heavy with the
Feeling of expectancy
Smiling faces showing joyful hearts
As the people gather round
For the sight that they came to see
The full immersion ocean water
Baptism by the sea
Welcoming the people who are


New to the family
People singing praises as they watch
From the harbor wall
Singing in the Spirit, making joyful noises
Shouting hallelujahs at the top of their voices
They′re gonna keep on until the
Sun comes round again
They walk into the ocean 'til the
Water′s up to their knees
Burying their past at the
Bottom of the sea
Resurrecting life flowing through them
When they breathe again
Their old lives buried and their new life flows
Their hearts are full and their faces show the change
