To get a message to you

The message didn′t get through
And you can call me all the names you want
Under the sun
But you can't say I didn′t try

She sits by the door waiting for the letter to drop
But she'll never believe that you, you ever forgot
So she, she lives out her life like she′s rehearsing a play
That she knows deep inside will get cancelled one day

But after seven more forsaken years
I′m still gonna feel like I do today

So she makes another meal for her superficial friends
