There are nights when I open my eyes
And stare into deepest darkness
I feel safe and warm in my bed
But there′s a black abyss in my head

Are we supposed to go somewhere special?
Or are we just here on our own?

When I was young, the world once told me
You're still a child, but real men don′t cry
Now that I'm older, I try to look happy
But due to those words I'm afraid of the night
