Introduction by David Allen / Happy Times Are Here Again Songtext

Thank you very much
Well, um this weekend must be one of the most exciting to the British country music fans
Have known for a long long time and the reason of course is our top of the bill
Really, it′s very difficult to know what to say by way of introduction
Because this man has walked away with just about every award in the country music book
Well, of course, with his backing group he's toured and played all over the world
But this is in fact his first visit to Britain
So let′s have a big warm London Palladium country style welcome
For the world's number one country artist
Ladies and gentleman, Buck Owens and the Buck Owens

Happy times are here again
Ain't felt like this since I don′t know when
Baby′s comin' in on the twelve-oh-ten
Happy times are here again

Well now, I′m like a bird in the morning sun
I'm like a bee in the honey comb
I′m like a child on Christmas morn'
Happy times are here again

No more sleepless nights all alone
No more walking the floor ′til dawn
Hugs and kisses from now on
Hey, happy times are here again

Happy times are here again
Ain't felt like this since I don't know when
Baby′s comin′ in on the twelve-oh-ten
Happy times are here again
Ho, hey, babe, happy times are here again

Thank you, thank you ladies and gentlemen and
We- we wanna tell you that how happy we are to be in Great Britain
And how very happy we are to be here at the Palladium
And mostly, how happy we are to find such a great group of people as you to perform to
So we're just going to, we′re going to stay here as long as they'll let us
If they let us stay all night, we′re going to stay with you
How's that? Huh
