Harbinger of Woe Songtext
von Brodequin
Harbinger of Woe Songtext
He is despised and rejected
Feared by most members of society
A man acquainted with grief and sorrows
They hid their faces from him
If only thought it out before routine
Wouldn′t find yourself in this place
Turned to me
Fluent in the languages of fire and axe
Administering the prescribed
Torment in the most efficient way
Preserving life until the time
To take it away As you see all ending horrendously
Hopelessly calling for a savior
Take your turn
Show mercy, please
Please mercy, mercy please
Please mercy
Always does what can be done
To free your soul
Taken to the town center there to die
An expert, everyone will see
For themselves, his work done
So skillfully
Return to preparing for the final
Awakening
Crowd living vicariously
In order
Pain releases truth
Pure poetry
As long as human life has existed
It is reasonable to assume that
Torture
And punishment has run parallel
Torture seems to be an integral
Part of our nature
You can't kill very large numbers
Of people, except in the name
Of virtue
Crucifixion, death compounded
By prolonged physical suffering
Victims of the cross could
Take days, or even weeks to die
Stone them, stab them, break
Their bones
Very often, that was enough
Feared by most members of society
A man acquainted with grief and sorrows
They hid their faces from him
If only thought it out before routine
Wouldn′t find yourself in this place
Turned to me
Fluent in the languages of fire and axe
Administering the prescribed
Torment in the most efficient way
Preserving life until the time
To take it away As you see all ending horrendously
Hopelessly calling for a savior

Please mercy, mercy please

So skillfully
