Meet a Bear Songtext

Meet a Bear Songtext
Every fly wants to die around half past nine
On a windowsill
In this old building
Watching the sunset
So do I, so do I, so do I, so do I
But not quite yet, first show me Tokyo!
I saw a band with two girls from Japan
They hit their guitars hard and they sang
Words I couldn′t understand
I want to meet a bear before I die
I want to help a teenager say goodbye
To a boyfriend she never even liked
But whom she thought made her look more grown up
I want to go to Tokyo
Children used to run in these stairs heading for open air
In-between boring lessons in math and geography
I do too, I do too, I do too, I do too
But I wish you'd say it′s time to play
I saw a band with two girls from Japan
They hit their guitars hard and they sang
Words I couldn't understand
I want to meet a bear before I die
I want to help a teenager say goodbye
To a boyfriend she never even liked
But whom she thought made her look more grown up
I want to go to Tokyo
On a windowsill
In this old building
Watching the sunset
So do I, so do I, so do I, so do I
But not quite yet, first show me Tokyo!
I saw a band with two girls from Japan
They hit their guitars hard and they sang
Words I couldn′t understand
I want to meet a bear before I die
I want to help a teenager say goodbye
To a boyfriend she never even liked
But whom she thought made her look more grown up
I want to go to Tokyo
Children used to run in these stairs heading for open air
In-between boring lessons in math and geography
I do too, I do too, I do too, I do too
But I wish you'd say it′s time to play
I saw a band with two girls from Japan
They hit their guitars hard and they sang
Words I couldn't understand
I want to meet a bear before I die
I want to help a teenager say goodbye
To a boyfriend she never even liked
But whom she thought made her look more grown up
I want to go to Tokyo
