I Got it Good Songtext

I Got it Good Songtext
I woke up this mornin′ and I dragged myself to work
I had a bad day and the boss acted like a jerk
I wanted to break his jaw so bad it hurt
But at least I'm still on the right side a′ the dirt
I know enough to know when I got it good
I won't complain even though sometimes I could
Maybe we don't count our blessings the way we should
Cause I know enough to know when I got it good
I drive that stretch a′ road ten times a day
It was my first offense but he wrote me up anyway
My credit card is in for a little more pain
But the sun came out and it dried up all the rain
I know enough to know when I got it good
I won′t complain even though sometimes I could
Maybe we don't count our blessings the way we should
Cause I know enough to know when I got it good
I went to the gym and had myself a time
What the treadmill does to yo body oughta be a crime
Next day the pain was a′ runnin' up and down my spine
Another six months and the doc says I′ll be fine
I know enough to know when I got it good
I won't complain even though sometimes I should
If the good Lord could give me a break well I wish he would
Cause I know enough to know when I got it good
I had a bad day and the boss acted like a jerk
