Won′t seek, won't ask, won′t get it
You can forget it
That's been the message
Since the first time that I said it
So trust and believe I meant it


But I didn't always know,
And although I didn′t come from a broken home,
There were holes from bullets that showed
The scale in which that our choices affected,
And it′s almost like I was destined,
With a father as a pastor, and a mother guarding her 3 pastures,
We were covered
From the world, protected.
The oldest child with so much potential
Defecting from what success is,
But success to some is a pension, a yard
And a few other minor expenses,
I don't want a life that′s expensive, spending bread
That others don't have,
And no I′m not saving the world
Because only the world can really do that
But i wanna play my part,
And I'm not just talking about acting,

Then the next day I′m facing relapse,
And these are the thoughts I've had,
Growing up in JA,
Seeing the things that aren't explained,
By a textbook that′s largely famous in name,
On many nights I′d pray, I'd lie there awake
Counting away, the cattle it takes
And that was the price of the day,
That i′m still paying off at this age
Then I discovered Pro-Era
Love to Steez for lighting the way,
We were countries apart yet your words
Transcended the plane,

To everyone I've walked paths with in this life,
