There′s her house on the corner
With a cherry tree in the yard
It has a RED fence
And a RED gate
In the garden with RED flowers

Irons in the fire Watching them glow
Vermilion Scarlet Crimson
I'm walking on coals
The surface of Mars Is where we′ll tread
With Rubies all around us
A Study In RED

And there is a girl
With RED hair
On a RED bike
She rides by
Through a stop sign
Past a fire hydrant
And when she peddles her skirt
Brush against her thighs

Paint the wall the ceiling RED
The windows and the door
Like the blood within me
RED carpet on the floor

And when I close my eyes I can still
See the light remaining RED and bright
