Step on stage, look around,
faces peer back from the
shapeless crowd. I struggle
for words as they look to me,
so many thoughts, now it′s
time to speak


Not content to watch the world
pass me by, I'm going to grab
the mic and say what′s on my
mind. Life's too short not to
say what we feel. I express
myself on what I feel is real.

We're speaking out, that′s what
I thought it was all about.
I know there are people I can
never reach, promises I can
