Today is the day we made

With the Wednesdays when I′ll stay away

There was some cold separation control
So I holed up at a friend's new home
And a new black cat consoled me
Stranger hold me

So am I still allowed to wallow aloud in this crowd?
Cause everything seems upside down now
I still feel around my finger for some missing thing
And stare at a screen downtown


But once
It was Bobby forever and ever
Then never

I took root in the crushing blues
I got lost and confused, clutching booze
I wrote in a notebook, I′m a true
Hack Kerouac, that's cool

I'll go right to the space and waste time
I′ll get some high priced pills prescribed
I′ll hide with some wild wine
And maybe then I'll feel fine

But once
It was Bobby Forever and ever
