Waking/Falling Dream Songtext
WAKING/FALLING DREAM
W/M: Bob Bennett
Outside this room and window
The world begins to cry
At least that′s how the sirens make it seem
I was tucking in my baby
For another winter's night
When suddenly I fell into a waking dream
I reach out my black and boney hand
To soothe my starving son
His sunken eyes are burning through my skin
And now l am deep in the jungle
Planting corn that will not grow
The guts of a volcano
Where my fields had been
Inside this room and window
My heart begins to cry
At least that′s how these
Teardrops make it seem
I was tucking in my conscience
For another winter's night
When suddenly I woke up
From this falling dream
This waking/falling dream
